Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Mountains, in Pennsylvania Dutch Country's northern Berks County, our 357 spacious sites are thoughtfully interspered within 87 acres of one of nature's most beautiful settings. Enjoy a new level of quaility amenities and dedicated service, which you would never truly expect to find in a family camping resort. At Appalachian Campsites, we recognize that camping is both an opportunity for families to spend quality time together and a chance to escape the demands and routines of our day-to-day lives. Whether you come for an entire week or can only break away for a weekend, camping time is leisure time, and we are committed to making your vacation the best that it possibly can be.
We offer a variety of spacious RV sites, ranging from 50' super pull-thru sites to 45' back-in sites overlooking our beautiful fishing pond to 25' wooded sites. We have something for everyone. If you are traveling without your RV or just want to take a break from the road, we also have tent sites and camping cabins and cottages. Our cabins and cottages area a great alternative to RV and tent camping. They range from 2-story log homes to primitive cabins. All sites include picnic tables and fire rings.
Be accommodated in style! Our dedication to cleanliness and a family atmosphere is what keeps regular campers coming back year after year. During your stay with us, please enjoy all of our modern facilities including our private bathhouses providing free hot showers, on-site Laundromat, pavilion, banquet facility, and recreation hall. If you are the type that usually burns the food during a cookout, you also have the choice of going to our full service restaurant for a great meal. For fishing buffs, there is a stocked fishing pond full of trout and bass. Those looking for athletic and sporting activities will enjoy our crystal clear pool, 18-hole old fashioned mini golf course, basket ball court, and pedal cart rentals. A sand volleyball court and horseshoe pits are available for a friendly match and tournament play. For the kids we offer a large playground with pirate ship, arcade with two pool tables and many exciting arcade games, and weekly movies. You are welcome to enjoy scheduled activities and entertainment or just relax around a campfire. Weekends feature hayrides, movies, art and activities, dances...or a visit to the many local attractions including Cabela's (within 10 minutes).
Be sure to visit our country store packed with groceries, souvenirs, wood, ice, and RV supplies. For those in need of electronic communications, bring your laptop and stay connected with our wireless internet service ($).
