This phenomenon makes Fremont well known as "The White Bass Capitol of the World" during the spring spawn it is not uncommon for fishermen to take home over 2000 fish during a single week of fishing. The Village boasts many attractions for vacationers.

Dining choices include a variety of small inviting diners to taverns serving pizza and burgers. Fremont has several beautiful supper clubs for a romantic evening or family dining. The large majority of Fremont's dining establishments and taverns offer boat parking on the Wolf River which is just minutes away from Jellystone Park on Partridge Lake. Don't forget a visit to the local cheese factory for some fresh cheese curds and other Wisconsin treats. Animal Haven Zoo offers an up close look at lions, tigers, cougars and mountain goats. Bring your bicycle to explore the miles of biking trails through woods, wetlands and farms.

The Webfooters, a State & National award winning water ski show team performs on the river in downtown Fremont every Wednesday and Sunday at 6:30pm. The team will take your breath away with stunts such as bare footing, pyramids, helicopters, and much more. You can watch from The Webfooters very own grandstand on Wolf River Drive or anchor your boat on the east side of the river and take in the show. Partridge Lake, located on the west side of Fremont, is the location of the public beach as well as Jellystone Park and the popular "rock wall".
