Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations made for reservations less than 30 days can be made within 2 days(s) of check-in date are subject to a penalty of $25. (For Cancellation and change purposes, check-in date is considered to be 12:01 AM PST of the day on which you are scheduled to check in.

For Stays of 30 Days or Longer:
For a full refund to be issued cancellations must be made prior to September 1st, 2008. After the 1st your deposit will be held for a future stay to be used within one year or the following season.
Rates are based on 2 persons. Electricity is additional. Utility fees will be assessed in accordance with current metering and fee collection standards.

Enjoy a season of fun at Fun-N-Sun RV RESORT and participate in a number of exciting events and programs. From November until the end of March, our weekly activities include free programs every Sunday & Monday night, Bingo, Sing-Along with your favorite songs, Ice Cream Social, Pancake breakfast every Saturday, Chuck Wagon Dinner every Thursday evening, Wood Carving, Dancing, Clogging, Aquacise, Walk Aerobics, and much more. We also have free coffee & donuts twice a week, sponsored by various businesses in the area. Monthly activities include tours to the Marine Military Academy, the Border Patrol Office here in Harlingen, Pizza lunch at local Pizzerias twice a month, Arts & Crafts sales twice a month, as well as an occasional big name entertainer costing $5 to $7 per person.

Nov 1 – Opening the season with a patriotic Flag Raising Ceremony, followed by refreshments

Nov 11 – Veterans Celebration – recognition of all of our veterans with a small token of appreciation, followed by refreshments

Dec 6 – Garage Sale for all residents, public invited to attend

Dec 15 – 31 – Christmas Lighting Contest, Christmas Eve Pageant, Christmas Day Dinner, and big New Years Eve Ball.

Jan 14 – Mexican Fiesta – Margaritas, Mexican Meal, and a Program, consisting of Folkloric Dancers or a Mariachi Band.

Jan 20 – All day Western Day celebration – hay wagon rides, train rides, holdups, entertainment by in park groups, meal and evening entertainment.

Jan 30 – Chili Cook-off and Park-wide Auction.

February starts off with a big Gospel Jamboree on the 3rd, Valentine Dance on the 14th, Ladies Luncheon and fashion show on the 18th, a Mardi Gras Parade on the 21st, and a 50’s – 60’s Bash (Mardi Gras Ball) on the 24th.

Mar 3 – Las Vegas Night – A regular ‘casino’ night with lots of games, including card games, spinning wheels, chicken toss, horse racing, and more.

Mar 7 – Our annual Park Exhibition where all of the park craftsmen/women show all of the things that they have made during the season. A fantastic display of talent.

Mar 13 – A golf cart challenge, where the blindfolded driver listens to the passenger to navigate a marked course. Prizes are awarded for the best times with the fewest mistakes.

Mar 17 – Our annual St Patrick’s Day Parade of decorated golf carts, bicycles, and the like, ending at the Recreation Hall for refreshments.

Mar 18 – Our season finale, the LUAU. Our largest event of the season, where residents decorate their tables in various Luau themes, and prizes are awarded for the best table decorations in a multitude of categories. Mai Tai’s are served, with a Hawaiian Meal to follow. Then comes the program, which always includes a parade of the past King and Queens, Hula Dancers, and performances by the Ukulele Group and Man’s Chorus. This is followed by a dance.
