Seaside Oregon - Boasting the Finest Barbershop Quartet Show, right here on the Oregon Coast. The event is produced by The Seaside Chamber of Commerce in conjunction With QCED (Quartet Champions of the Evergreen District). Each of the acts are current or previous champions of QCED. Sunday from 2-4:30PM at the Seaside Civic and Convention Center. It's a fundraising event for Sunset Empire Park & Recreation District and Seaside Rotary Foundation. It includes wine tasting, heavy appetizers and fine chocolates, a silent auction and wine roulette. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased at the Sunset Pool or online by clicking this link. (previously known as Oregon Dixieland Jubilee) is preparing for the 29th year of "Jazz in Seaside". Eleven bands plus Guest Artist, Bob Draga will rotate to five different venues. The music starts at 3:00PM on Friday and ends at 4:00PM Sunday. There will be a free Gospel Service on Sunday morning at the Convention Center. March 16 - Brewer's Dinner - 5:30PM
March 17 - Craft Beer Pouring, Tasting & Home Brew Competition 4-9PM. The Seaside Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Oregon Brewers Guild will present 'Pouring at the Coast', a craft beer tasting and food pairing festival at the Seaside Convention Center on March 17. The event debuted last year as the "Beach Bite & Brew" and offered 32
brews from 14 Oregon Breweries. We have increased participation pledged for this year.

They are hosting a member generated support your property event. Its theme is getting the next step complete for the Family Fire Pit Area. This year they will be supporting the efforts of the installation of 5 BBQs around that Fire Pit that will be used by all! We will be adding the BBQs, additional Picnic Tables and landscaping the area! During their stay at the property there is always fun to be had! Christopher & Minda will be cooking breakfast on the weekends and we are sure to have a few extra BBQs and Social’s organized!

Wine Walk! SDDA invited Oregon wineries to come to Seaside and set up inside downtown businesses to pour samples of their best wines for the public. The businesses provided hors d'oeuvres and the event was a go! At 3:00pm the Wine Walkers are off and the fun begins! The event lasts for 4 hours, giving everybody plenty of time to visit each winery. The wineries are allowed to sell unopened bottles, so if you find a new favorite you can take a bottle home with you!

Players and spectators enjoy the clear ocean air of one of the World's most beautiful beaches as described by National Geographic. It is the largest amateur beach volleyball tournament in the world with over 800 teams playing on 100+ courts. Divisions range from parent and child to Masters 55+, along with our Men, Women and Co-ed Open Divisions that feature current and retired AVP ranked players. Seaside Beach Volleyball is consistently the highest ranked and most visited amateur beach volleyball tournament around!

This will be our 3rd annual A Day in the Park. Last year's event was a lot of fun and this year it promises to be even better. Join us for an eating contest, games, a Saturday market, live music and a whole lot more. This event is held in Broadway Park next to the Sunset Pool and will be on Saturday August 18th. By formal request! THEY'RE BACK! "Who?" do you ask! Well of course it's "The Pacific City Ramblers" holding their 3rd Jamboree here at Seaside! And you know what that means! Fun, Fun, Fun! There will be desert auctions, socials, singing at the fire pit, games for all ages all day everyday! And as usual they will be bringing along Chef John so he can once again amaze us with his world class BBQ! That dinner will be held on the 25th! Last year we had over 186 in attendance! Amazing! The Sunset Thriller and Fall Fun Fest - This event is not for the faint of heart! It consists of a haunted house for the older kids (and by kids we mean anyone 6 to 106 years old!) and a carnival for our younger attendees (12 and under). The event is $1 at the door (under 3 is free) and includes a cakewalk, carnival games, cookies and punch, music and a hair-raising haunting you'll never forget. Join us on Wednesday October 31st, 2012 from 5 to 8pm at the Sunset Pool, 1140 Broadway, for a howling good time!

November 23rd Seaside Yuletide Parade
7 PM The Parade of Lights and lighting of the community tree begin this special, old fashioned season. The musical tree of dancing lights is set in the pocket park at the west end of the Carousel Mall. The Parade begins on Necanicum Drive at 1st Avenue and moves on to Broadway to the tree in the park. Lighted floats, family's, pets and community groups are decked with festive lights and parade watchers join the end to gather around the tree and sing carols. Santa and Mrs. Claus talk with children. Hot cider, cocoa and cookies are served and Santa's elf hands out gifts to children to close this joyful evening of Christmas by the sea.
