In addition to the exciting activities listed below, our weekends always include Bingo on either Friday or Saturday evening, “Hayless Rides”,and special activities for both kids and adults.
May 16 - 18 Stay’in Alive Weekend
Programs & demonstrations will be on safety in the home and kitchen, Free Coast Guard Boat inspection, Kids Fire Safety demonstrations and the American Red Cross will be here to share with us all the services they offer.
May 23 - 26 A Memorial Day Celebration
A Salute to our Troops Past & Present Weekend two nights of Bingo, a dance & Karaoke on Saturday night, a golf cart and bicycle decorating contest and parade, crafts and games for the kids, family activities and our 4th annual Memorial Day Horseshoe Tournament.
May 30 - June 1 Fairytales & Wizardology Weekend
Calling all Princesses, Knights and Dragon-slayers! Fairy Tale crafts, a Castle Moonwalk and a special Kids Magic Campfire add to the magic for everyone!
JUNE
6 - 8 Wild West Weekend
This weekend is going to be filled with gun fights, jail houses, our 1st Texas Hold’em Tournament, a Chuck Wagon Pot Luck, Pic’in & a Grinn’in after Boot Hill Bingo on Saturday night. A blazin’ weekend fer sure!
June 13 - 15 The Big “D” Weekend
Dad is King for the whole weekend!!!! Friday gift making for Dad. Saturday,Fathers Day Fishing Tournament For all the Dads that “Fish Not,”- “Want Not”, you can join in the Texas Holdem’ Tournament. , Saturday , Karaoke!
June 20 - 21 Up With Art
We’ll have a chalk art contest, special crafts for all ages and the kids will help create special banners for our upcoming 4th of July Celebration!
JULY
4 - 7 Fourth of July Freedom Festival
It’s our annual 4th of July blowout! The Carolina Beach Club returns for a dance on Saturday !A Horse Shoe Tournament, golf cart parade, “Anything That Floats but a Boat” Race, three nights of Bingo
July 11 - 13 Camper Appreciation Weekend
Free coffee and donuts get the weekend started off right. A Fishing Tournament, free canoeing and kayaking, two nights of Bingo and pool games are some of the fun ways we will say thanks to our Twin Lakes guests!
July 18 - 20 Sand & Surf Weekend
Win some summertime goodies at Beach Blanket Bingo and some great prizes at the Sand Sculpting Contest! Kayak races, wet and wild family games and super summer crafts will top off a weekend that celebrates summer’s best!
July 25 - 27 Wild West Weekend
A stick horse rodeo and a Pickin’ n’ Grinnin’ Campfire are the highlights of this weekend. Bring yer cowboy hats n’ boots for a wild n’ wooly good time!
July 27 - 29 The Spirit of Christmas
Santa takes HIS vacation at Twin Lakes this year! A Christmas Parade, Christmas crafts and lots of beautiful decorations makes Twin Lakes the place to be for Christmas in July!
AUGUST
1 - 3 The Search for the Black Pearl
Ahoy, Mates! It’s all about pirates this weekend! From Treasure Hunts to Pirate Bingo we’ll celebrate their wiley ways! Bring your best pirate outfit and come aboard!
August 8 - 10 Family Fun-A-Thon
Get your Family Team together and earn points as you compete in 2 days of Challenges and Contests. The Family Team with the most points by Saturday evening wins a great prize!
August 15 - 17 Kids Kingdom
It’s our annual “”back-to-school” blues buster weekend! Pool parties and pizza, games, back-to-school crafts, and much more will help chase away all that school daze haze!
August 22 - 24 “Who Let the Dogs Out” Weekend
Man’s best friend gets pampered this weekend! Our “Doggy Spa” will include bubble baths, a blow dry station and massages! A Doggy Costume contest and treats for every pooch make this a dog-gone great weekend!
SEPTEMBER
August 29 - September 1 Labor Day Weekend
Twin Lakes is THE PLACE to be on America’s “Day Off”! Games and contests, a dance, a Horse Shoe Tournament, Kayak Races, 2 nights of Bingo and so much more.
September 5 - 6 Fall Fishing Fever
Fishing Tournament…group weigh-ins! We’ll have crafts and games for those don’t fish.
September 12 - 14 Bingo Blast
Friday night Bingo, Candy Bar Bingo, Brown Bag Bingo, a Bingo Scavenger Hunt…
September 19 - 21 Fall Flea Market & Yard Sale
It’s time to clear out those closets again! Come and have a great time selling your old treasures and finding new ones! Are you a crafter or a baker? Bring your wares and earn some spending money!
September 26 - 28 Ride for the Red Weekend
If you have a motorcycle, sign up for the Ride for the Red. For those of you who don’t ride, come out and see all the wonderful bikes on display, hear some great music in the Pavilion and support a great cause, The American Red Cross!
OCTOBER
3 - 5 Pumpkin Patch Festival
Halloween Festival. A costume contest, Resort-wide trick-or-treating, a site decorating contest, pumpkin carving, and lots of fabulous fall fun and the weather should be perfect for some ghostly campfire gatherings!
October 10 - 12 Fall Farewell
Come help us celebrate the end of a great season with a Campers Pot Luck Dinner, a Community Campfire and some good old fashioned Twin Lakes fellowship
We’ll see you in 2009!
