Quechan Indian Museum - the headquarters for the Quechan Indian Tribe is also a museum of their culture. It is Located in Fort Yuma, which is one of the oldest military posts to be found in the Arizona Territory, and was instrumental in affording security to settlers, as well as travelers making the Yuma Crossing. Located at Indian Hill Rd., across the Colorado River, near the Territorial Prison.
