Pigeon Key, located in the middle of the famous Old Seven-Mile Bridge half-way between Key Largo and Key West i n the fabulous Florida Keys, was the location of the work camp and village for the hardy souls that constructed, operated and maintained the bridge itself - a massive ribbon of steel and concrete that forever changed the history of the Florida Keys. Only 45 miles north of Key West and a short two hours south of Miami, Pigeon Key feels like a world - and a century - away from the rest of the world. Pigeon Key is both a place and a state of mind.
