Sarasota Memorial Hospital is proud of its highly competent and professional nursing staff, who have received Magnet Nursing Services Recognition, the nation’s highest honor for excellence in nursing. We pride ourselves in having a high percentage of Registered Nurses (RNs) who are certified in many different clinical areas. Every patient always has an RN coordinating their care. Our nurses will assure that you have very good care during your stay and appropriate instructions at time of discharge. Please do not hesitate to let us know your needs. If your caregiver or another employee has given you excellent service and you would like to tell us about it, please ask to fill out a “Stargram,” which we use to recognize outstanding staff. After you are discharged, you will receive a survey asking your opinion about your hospital stay.
