Leavenworth RV Open Year Round

The Leavenworth Preserve reopened on Monday 7/21/14. All businesses in the surrounding area are open. There is a wildfire some miles away, but it poses no threat to the resort at this time. The two primary routes to the preserve are open. Highway 2 from Steven Pass to Highway 207 & Highway 2 in Leavenworth to Chumstick Highway are both open. Highway 2 between Coles Corner and the Town of Leavenworth is still closed, but does affect access to the preserve. Air quality as of Saturday is moderate, which means that "unusually sensitive people should consider reducing prolonged or heavy exertion". Air quality should improve as the week progresses.(posted 7/22/14)

The beautiful Cascade Mountains provide the perfect backdrop to relax or enjoy numerous recreational activities in the alpine setting of the Thousand Trails Leavenworth RV Camping Preserve. At this special RV camp in Washington, we have 300 acres of beautiful forests and meadows. During the winter months you'll be able to ride your snowmobile directly across the street to over 200 miles of groomed snowmobile trails. You can cross country ski, snowshoe, and sled down hills that are all located right here at the Leavenworth RV camp in central Washington.

Leavenworth RV Camping Preserve is located just 29 miles from the Steven's Pass Ski Resort. Ice fishing is available at Fish Lake located four miles from the resort. Each year, two to three million people visit the Bavarian Village of Leavenworth, located 17 miles from the RV camp in Washington. The village is world famous for its Bavarian architecture, seasonal festivals, unique German restaurants, specialty shops and art galleries.

Sunny summers provide perfect conditions for kayaking or paddle boating on Alpine Trout Lake and Otter Pond, both located on the preserve. At Leavenworth, you can hike on over seven miles of trails also located at the RV camp. Local wine tasting in Washington's vineyards, hiking, fishing, river rafting or sunbathing on the shores of Lake Wenatchee are all possible within a few miles of the preserve.
