How it Works
There are 5 zones to choose from depending on where you want to camp (Southwest, Southeast, Midwest, Northwest, Northeast). Each Zone includes 18-24 Thousand Trails campgrounds providing year-round access to some of the best camping destinations in the U.S. and British Columbia.
Once you purchase your Zone Camping Pass, enjoy camping trips with your family for weeks at a time or just get-a-way for the weekend whenever you like. The regular cost is only $525 for 12 months of camping, which can be split into monthly payments of $43.75 per month (less than the cost of one night of camping).
Your Zone Camping Pass provides unlimited overnight camping to all the campgrounds in your Zone (subject to length of stay restrictions). In general you can stay up to 14 consecutive days at a time and wait seven days before beginning your next stay. The first 30 nights a year are free of charge, after that a modest daily usage fee of $3 would apply to defray the cost of our amenities.
Savings Example
Over the summer Benny spends 28 days camping throughout the Northwest zone with his family, visiting several different resorts in his RV on the Zone Camping Pass. Because he camps for less than 30 nights in one year, he is not charged a use fee. If Benny had paid the daily rate at the same resorts, he could easily have averaged as much as $45 a night, depending on the resort, the day of the week, and the time of year. Instead, he pays under $44 a month.
