Venture into this diverse area from a Bellingham RV campground

A great place to get away from it all without getting away too far! Thousand Trails' Birch Bay RV Resort is located a few miles from the US and Canadian border crossing and a walk from Washington’s largest tide flat, Birch Bay. When the tide is out, go exploring, crabbing, clamming, bird watching, or sandcastle building.

Open year-round, Birch Bay RV Resort has a bicycle and walking track for enjoying the great outdoors. Our lodges keep you warm and occupied on a rainy day. Pull-through sites in Phase II and full hook-ups throughout this Bellingham RV campground provide convenience.

Shopping, restaurants and entertainment abound in Bellingham. Blaine, Lynden, and Ferndale have small-town USA delights. The diversity of this area is so vast, with Mount Baker bordering us to the east, you are sure to enjoy venturing out from a Bellingham RV campground.

As of 9/22/2013, Birch Bay's Phase II section is closed for the season and scheduled to reopen May 14, 2014 weather permitting. You can continue to enjoy camping as usual in our Phase I section.
